About the firm
A brokerage built from the importer’s chair.
Perrotta Customs Group is a licensed U.S. customs brokerage for jewelry, watches, leather, and high-volume DTC. Lean desk. Live dashboard. Christian Perrotta still signs the entry.

The house
We sell a faster file, not a bigger headcount.
Independent houses should not have to fund a forty-person brokerage to clear a gold chain. We classify under the HTS, file the 3461 and 7501, stand the bond, run PGA and ISF, and stay on the file after liquidation — protests, CF-28s, drawback. A licensed broker reviews every transmission.
The practice is named for the principal. The dashboard is the client relationship. Status is not a Thursday email.
The principal
Christian Perrotta
Licensed Customs House Broker. He spent five years inside LAGOS in Philadelphia — from logistics analyst to Logistics Manager — running the file a jewelry house actually lives on: trunk-show freight, packaging, display components, and the dashboard the floor used instead of a status call.
Before that: sortation at Amazon, ocean export and import billing at BDP International. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. The lesson was not that a model replaces the broker. It was that the broker should never be the bottleneck.
The path
Importer first. Broker second.

LAGOS — Logistics Manager
Five years in the house: analyst, senior analyst, then manager. Standard operating procedures for variable shipping methods, warehouse triage for packaging and display, and the organization’s first interactive logistics dashboard. Lean / Six Sigma on the floor, not in a slide.

Amazon — UTR Area Manager
Sortation shifts at a logistics delivery station. More than a hundred associates, peak-season volume, and the habit of clearing barriers before the next cycle starts.

BDP International — ocean export & import billing
Ocean export on the Dow team, then import billing through EDI — invoices, clients, and the particular discipline of a file that has to match on both sides of the water.
