E-Commerce

Weekly volume is a practice.

Continuous bonds, repeating SKUs, and a dashboard the floor can read while the aircraft is still over the water. Status is not a Thursday email. A licensed broker still signs the 7501.

The invoice that fails

A new broker every peak is not a file.

DTC replenishment that changes houses each season pays in re-classed SKUs and surprise MPF. A repeating style should not be a first-time heading. Houses that treat each invoice as a stranger learn it on a CF-28.

We map the catalog once and keep it. If a new fabric or kit shows up, we pause that line — not the whole plane.

Stacked moving cartons in a warehouse aisle
Repeating SKUs still need the same heading.

01 · The split

Map the catalog. Then transmit.

SKU

The style is the line.

A repeating SKU keeps its heading. A new BOM is a new classification. We will not reuse last year’s suffix on a new fabric.

Entry type

321 is not formal.

De minimis and formal entries are different files. We will not stuff a commercial replenishment into a 321 to look cheap.

Bond

Continuous, sized to the duty.

Single-entry bonds on weekly air are a scramble. We size the continuous bond to the actual duty — not last year’s guess.

IOR

Who is on the 7501.

Brand, 3PL, or a related importer. The invoice, the bond, and the 7501 have to name the same house.

02 · The gate

The bond is the practice.

Weekly air without a continuous bond is a Thursday problem. We stand the bond to the duty on the catalog — not a round number from a freight quote. ISF on the ocean lanes sits in the vault before the vessel sails.

Section 321 is not a strategy for a brand that replenishes every week. If the facts are commercial, we file commercial.

03 · The doors

Five doors. One dashboard.

JFK and EWR take the east-coast air. PHL is the quiet luxury lane. LAX and MIA take the rest. The client sees the crate while it is still over the water. Status is not a spreadsheet.

Packed cartons ready for shipment
Volume is a mapped catalog, not a scramble.

04 · What we need

Send the invoice. We will say if the file holds.

  1. SKU list Style codes that repeat. New BOMs flagged — not silently reused.
  2. IOR and bond Who files, and a continuous bond sized to the duty.
  3. Entry posture Formal versus 321. We will say if the facts do not match the ask.
  4. Origin by SKU Especially where 301 or UFLPA can touch the BOM.
  5. Cadence Weekly, twice-weekly, peak. The desk is staffed to the calendar.

Questions we actually get

The file before the appointment.

Can we run weekly replenishment on Section 321?

If the facts are commercial, no. We will not stuff a brand’s restock into de minimis to look cheap. Formal entry is the practice.

Do repeating SKUs get re-classified every time?

No. The map holds until the BOM changes. A new fabric or kit is a new line — we pause that SKU, not the aircraft.

What belongs on the commercial invoice?

SKU, description that supports the heading, origin, value. A Shopify export with “assortment” is a pause.

Which ports do you run for DTC?

JFK, EWR, PHL, LAX, and MIA on one dashboard. The licensed file is the same desk.

The desk

Bring one messy replenishment invoice.

A consultation returns classification notes, PGA flags, and a flat fee. If the file is not one we can defend, we will say so in the memo.
