Forwarder & transit coordination

We do not move the truck.

This desk is a third-party source of truth. Because we do not haul the freight, a logistics delay never gets dressed up as a “customs hold.” We work the file with the forwarder you already hired — including high-value armored runs — so clearance is granted before the truck arrives at the CES.

Clearance first. Then your carrier. Not the other way around.

The story that fails

A late dray is not a customs hold.

When a broker also hauls the freight, a logistics delay can get narrated as a “customs problem.” That burns trust and the clock. We do not move the truck. We clear the file. Your forwarder — or Brink’s, Malca-Amit, or the house carrier on high-value — moves the crate after clearance.

We work the licensed file so release is granted before the truck arrives at the CES. If the entry is not ready, we say so. We do not invent a hold to cover a late driver.

01 · The method

Truth. Your forwarder. Then the CES.

Truth

Third-party on the file.

Because we do not haul freight, a logistics delay stays a logistics delay. We will not dress it as a customs hold.

Your forwarder

The one you already hired.

We coordinate the clearance handoff with your forwarder. We do not replace them. We do not compete with them for the dray.

High-value

Armored when the lot earns it.

Brink’s, Malca-Amit, or the house armored carrier for jewelry and high-value. Clearance still comes first.

CES

After release.

The truck arrives when the file is clear. We do not ask a driver to wait on a heading we have not finished.

02 · The real cost

A fake hold is more expensive than a late truck.

Importers who are told “customs” when the real problem is logistics lose the ability to fix the actual clock. We will not sell that story. Clearance status is visible on the file.

The desk stays a third-party source of truth. Your forwarder keeps the freight. We keep the entry.

03 · On the file

Clearance is granted before the truck.

Forwarder coordination is a handoff, not a hidden 3PL. The entry is ready. Then your carrier moves. A licensed broker still owns the customs file — not the trailer.

04 · What we need

Send the forwarder contact. We will say when the file is clear.

  1. Forwarder / carrier Who is moving the crate after release — including armored when required.
  2. CES / delivery plan Where the truck is supposed to be, and when.
  3. Entry readiness Invoice, heading, PGA — enough to release before arrival.
  4. High-value instructions Armored carrier name when the lot earns it.
  5. One operating picture No parallel stories about why the crate is late.

Questions we actually get

The file before the appointment.

Do you haul freight?

No. This desk does not move the truck. Your forwarder — or an armored carrier on high-value — moves the crate after we have cleared it.

Will you call a late dray a customs hold?

No. Because we do not haul freight, a logistics delay stays a logistics delay. Clearance status is on the file.

Do you replace my forwarder?

No. We coordinate the clearance handoff with the forwarder you already hired. We do not compete for the dray.

What about high-value armored?

Brink’s, Malca-Amit, or the house armored carrier when the lot earns it. Clearance still comes before the truck.

The desk

Bring one forwarder and one messy invoice.

A consultation returns clearance timing notes and a flat fee. If the file is not ready for the truck you booked, we will say so in the memo.
